Terms of use

GéoQuiz is a geography quiz where every answer is a place to locate on a globe. The service includes free games, a Daily Challenge, leaderboards, multiplayer, Stream Mode for creators and an optional Premium subscription.

You sign in with Google or Twitch and then choose a public username. Your provider name, email address and profile picture are never shown to other players. You are responsible for your account and username. Offensive, misleading or impersonating usernames may be removed from leaderboards.

One discovery game is available without an account. Free accounts receive a limited number of daily games on selected themes. Only one Daily Challenge attempt per account and day is official; later attempts are unranked practice.

Premium (€4.99/month or €49.99/year, paid through Stripe) unlocks every theme, unlimited games, Stream Mode and advanced statistics.

• The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled.
• You may cancel anytime from “My account” → “Manage my subscription”; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
• Consumer law provides a 14-day withdrawal period after subscribing. By requesting immediate Premium access, you waive that right for the period already started.
• Stripe processes payments; GéoQuiz never stores bank-card details.

Content creators may receive codes granting free access. Codes are personal, non-transferable and may be disabled if abused. Active referral programmes are governed by the terms shared with participating creators.

• A free-access code grants Premium for the duration shown when redeemed.
• A discount code applies to the first subscription payment only.
• Each code may be redeemed once per player, within its usage and expiry limits.
• Codes have no cash value and cannot be exchanged or refunded.

• Cheating, automating answers or manipulating scores.
• Disrupting multiplayer rooms or streamers’ chats.
• Trying to access other players’ accounts or service systems.
• Using the service for unlawful or unauthorised commercial purposes.

We may suspend or delete accounts that breach these rules.

We aim to provide an available, error-free service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. GéoQuiz is not liable for interruptions, lost game data or indirect damage connected with use of the service.
